We are going to worlds!

The past week the Beak Squad competed at the Queen City Regional held at Xavier University’s Cintas Center. We are overjoyed to announce that after qualification matches we ended up as the fifth seated alliance and therefore were the alliance captain. We teamed up with team 4145 and team 3324, made it to the finals, and left the tournament as regional finalists. Thanks to our sponsor Intelligrated and all of the time and talent they have devoted to our team we were awarded with the Industrial Design Award. If that wasn’t enough, our team was granted a wild card and was gifted a spot to compete in the world championships! The Beak Squad will see you in St. Louis!

Queen City Regional

The Beak Squad is excited to be participating in the Queen City Regional this weekend at the Xavier Cintas Center! Some team members are making final improvements to the robot, and others are preparing to scout for potential alliance partners. Today we’ll be competing in practice matches along with the 55 other registered teams. Qualification matches take place Friday and part of Saturday, and the alliance selection and elimination rounds will happen Saturday afternoon. We hope to see you there!
